Temporary extra collection for peak periods
A promotion, sale or holiday period can produce more parcels than your normal routine can handle. Request extra collection for a defined period and tell us the expected volume. Capacity and price are confirmed in a proposal.
- An arrangement for a defined period
- Supplement your existing carrier
- Collection at warehouse, shop or home
- No payment taken when requesting
When temporary capacity helps
Typical situations include a successful campaign, Black Friday or holiday demand, a clearance sale, team absence or carrier volume restrictions. The request does not guarantee that capacity will be available.
Information to provide
State the start and end dates, expected parcel count per day or collection, addresses and destinations. If volume is uncertain, give a range. Request peak periods several weeks ahead where possible.
If the need becomes permanent
After the peak you can discuss a recurring or online-store collection arrangement. A temporary proposal does not automatically become an ongoing service.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I request just one period?
- Yes. State that it is a temporary peak and give start and end dates. The arrangement ends after the agreed period.
- How soon can it start?
- This depends on the dates and available capacity. Around Black Friday and holidays capacity can be limited. No start date is promised until confirmed.
- What does temporary capacity cost?
- Price depends on collection frequency, volume and location. You receive a proposal by email; no payment is taken with the request.
- Can this supplement my regular carrier?
- Yes. Temporary capacity can be discussed for extra volume or missed collection rounds alongside your existing carrier.
