Shipping API for online stores
Integrate shipping into your order system instead of retyping addresses in a separate portal. Your system can request rates, create eligible shipments and retrieve labels and tracking through one integration for connected carriers.
- Rates, shipments, labels, tracking and service points
- Manage and revoke your own API access keys
- Signed outgoing status webhooks
- One interface for eligible connected services
Calculate your shipping price
Compare the available carriers on price and delivery time for your parcel.
- Competitive prices
- Reliable service
- Compare online
What you can build
Request rates using the packed weight, dimensions and destination. Select an eligible service, then follow the documented booking and payment requirements before shipment creation. Retrieve the resulting label and tracking information for your order.
A uniform interface avoids a separate API connection for each carrier. Availability still depends on the exact parcel and route; an API connection does not guarantee every carrier service.
Access keys and documentation
Manage access keys in your account. Copy a newly generated key when it is shown, keep it secret and revoke or rotate it when needed. The site stores key hashes rather than retrievable raw keys.
Implementation details include endpoint payloads, authentication, rate limits, error handling, idempotency and signed webhook validation. Do not put private keys in public browser code.
Start without an integration
You can first compare services and create individual shipments using the existing calculator and checkout. An API integration is optional, not a requirement for business shipping.
Invoicing and testing
Monthly invoicing is available only after manual approval for a signed-in business account. Integrations must preserve the current payment requirements; creating an API key does not grant invoicing permission.
Confirm the configured testing mode before trying shipment endpoints. A rate request is not shipment creation. Do not assume a production shipment call is free merely because you are testing an integration.

Frequently asked questions
- What does the shipping API support?
- Rates, shipment creation, label and tracking retrieval, service-point lookup and eligible shipment cancellation. Outgoing status webhooks can update your system.
- How does authentication work?
- Use an account-managed API key. Treat the raw key as a secret; it is shown when generated and cannot be retrieved later from its stored hash.
- Can I receive status updates automatically?
- Outgoing webhooks use signed payloads. Your integration must validate the signature and handle repeated events safely.
- Can I test without booking a shipment?
- Rate requests can be used to inspect available services without creating a shipment. Shipment creation is a separate operation with its own payment and environment requirements.
